What Jobber announced
Jobber’s October 8 product update says users can connect their business records to Claude to ask about clients, jobs, quotes, invoices, requests and schedules. The company also describes creating clients, properties and requests, and updating Jobber details from Claude. These are vendor-described capabilities, not features we have tested.

What the announcement does not establish
The short release does not specify every eligible subscription, region, account permission or write action. Confirm those details with Jobber and the AI provider before connecting a production account. Reading a quote and changing a customer record are different actions; access to one should not be assumed to imply permission for the other.
Why commercial HVAC teams may care
Our take: a quote awaiting an answer or a request missing a location reference is a narrower starting point than letting an assistant run the office. Use a small authorized sample, compare the summary with the original records, and keep approval of customer messages and record changes with the responsible employee. A general field-service integration is not evidence of complete commercial HVAC agreement or project coverage.
A practical first check
Before a pilot, ask the administrator to identify what data the connection can read and what it can change, how actions are reviewed, and how the connection can be removed. Begin with a clearly bounded question and inspect the underlying record afterward. Do not treat a fluent response as proof that an update was correct. This article covers the October 8 announcement; it does not claim a new launch on October 20.
